Onboarding Questionnaire

We’re so excited to get started! This questionnaire helps us learn more about your business, your goals, and what you’re envisioning for your new website. Your responses will guide our kickoff strategy workshop and ensure we make the most of our time together—thank you for taking a few minutes to share your thoughts with us.

Project Point Person

We ask that for each project we have one designated point person. If you are working with a team the point person will collect all of the team's feedback and consolidate notes to send to us. Having a point person makes this whole process a lot faster - trust us!

Website Info

Do you already have a website?
Yes
No

Goals

This could be a business goal, implementing different software, connecting with your audience in a new way, or updating the brand, etc.

Ex: Business executives in mid-range companies, mostly men, 50s, in northeast / teenagers in LA, underserved populations / women in their 30s, fitness oriented, looking for a community... the more specific you get with us, the better. Consider past/current clients vs. your ideal client.

Please check which best describes how you want your website to feel? (Choose up to 3)

Ahead of our website strategy workshop, we want to give you a few prompts to start getting your wheels turning. These are meant to help us hit the ground running and make the most of our time together. The following are some thought-starters to get you in the right headspace. No need to come with polished answers as many of the questions overlap — just start noodling on these so we can have a conversation:

  • What’s the overall vibe/impression of your brand?

  • When someone interacts with your brand, how do you want them to feel?

  • What’s your business/organization's purpose — why do you exist?

  • What's your website's purpose — is it different from your business's purpose?

  • How do you want your brand to be perceived?

  • What sets you apart from your competitors?

Style Inspiration

Please provide at least 3 websites you like the look and feel of in relation to how you want your website to look. These websites can be in your field or not! Anything you like that can give us a sense of your style to draw inspiration. These examples help us understand your taste and preferences. They are not intended to dictate your final design.

If you have more websites you'd like to show us, please have them prepared at the meeting to review.

Please list at least 1 competitor website. We understand they might not be a direct competitor but someone else in your field.

Whether you love or hate their websites, it’s helpful for us to know who they are. While their design might not steer our direction much, understanding their online presence is important for SEO and strategic positioning.

SEO

Please list 3 keywords/phrases that best describe your business in order of importance. If you're having trouble, think: "If I were someone trying to find my company, what would I search in google?" We will discuss SEO throughout the project and have our own insights into these phrases but we like to get your initial input.
